Southern California is a beautiful place. Whether it be the quiet of the ocean, mountains, or desert, or the action of the city, there is something for everyone. 20+ million people know this whether we like it or not.
Our roads are crowded, restaurants have long waits, and we think twice before driving across town. It can take over 3 hours on a Saturday to get from Los Angeles to Orange County.
We have a housing problem . . . and a serious homeless problem. How do we fit so many people in this beautiful place. It's not easy.
The founders of Backyard Homes West, Joseph Stone and Bryan Cruz, have lived here collectively for over 100 years. We have over 50 years of development experience from luxurious Westside single family homes, to multi-family housing, and to accessory dwelling units (ADUs).
We are conservative in our approach to development, mindful of neighbors and community needs, and respectful of our Southern California history.
